Writing is not for the faint of heart. Most established authors know this, but if you're new to the world of writing and publishing, the revelation may take you by surprise. What do you mean I can't just put pen to page, publish it, and call it a day?

It's so easy to become disheartened by the process, so much so that you want to give up on your writing, and the story placed in your care, simply because it feels too hard.
As a somewhat newer writer to the industry—I've been at it 'seriously' now for about three years— I can tell you, I know the struggle well. Absolutely NOTHING in my life has been more humbling than the the process of writing, and the subsequent process of trying to get published. So what's the one thing I can attribute to keeping me afloat? People. Whether in the form of community or simply generous givers of information, I could not have survived, and grown, in my craft and as a person, without the help and support of others. And that's exactly what this website is all about (while, of course, also being a shameless plug for my own work, but we'll get to that later.)
And so I welcome you, dear gentle reader, and budding, valued writer, unto the fold of the Eadar (JK, another shameless plug). I welcome you to a place where you can explore the fantastical, the idea of making your dreams a reality, simply by being you, and without feeling like you have to do it alone. Follow along, and subscribe to my monthly newsletter below, as I share the plethora of information I've gathered as I've navigated these same trenches, and as I welcome others in this industry to do the same.
The struggle is real, friend! So glad to see you pushing through and building community around this wonderful work of ours! Cheers!
